WHRI Clinical Research Support Unit (WCRSU)

The WHRI Clinical Research Support Unit assists investigators with all aspects of research related to women's health. Our research support services are available to all WHRI members and trainees.

  • Protocol planning and development
  • Preparation and submission of ethics and regulatory documents
  • Grants facilitation
  • Budget advising and development
  • Recruitment and consenting of study participants
  • Conduct study interviews and questionnaires
  • Booking of appointments, follow-up telephone calls
  • Facilitation of data access
  • Database building and data entry
  • Statistical analysis planning and completion
  • Presentation (power point slides / poster) development
  • Manuscript planning and development

Fees and grants

  • Grant-funded research: The WHRI will cost-recover for its services when funding is available
  • Unfunded research: The WHRI has small seed grants available to assist with the development and conduct of pilot studies. Such monies may be used to cover the costs of the assistance provided by the WCRSU staff.
