Dear Colleagues:
I believe that the Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI) is a wonderful new opportunity for those of us committed to the creation of new knowledge for the betterment of women’s health and whole-heartedly encourage you to join. As an active or potential women’s health researcher, I would like to invite you to consider being a member; to be part of our growth and to help us by influencing the early development and overall direction of the WHRI.
As many researchers will have overlapping and complex relationships, membership with the WHRI is not exclusionary in any way and participating in such a research collective will no doubt serve to enhance your success as a women’s health researcher and our success as a women’s health institute. Researchers can consider membership in the following categories:
| Full Member | For an individual involved in women’s health research for whom the WHRI would be the only research institute affiliation. |
| Associate Member | Individuals who are involved in women’s health research, at least in part, but have a strong relationship with another research institute (e.g. CFRI) that they wish to maintain; the result is a dual membership with the WHRI and their current affiliation. |
| Affiliate Member | Individuals who are extensively involved with another institute, but may have projects that would overlap with WHRI. |
If you are interested in learning more and would like to discuss how the Institute could support you in your research endeavors, I would be very pleased to hear from you. I can be reached at zhodgson@cw.bc.ca or through Christina Schmidt, WHRI Coordinator, via email: cschmidt@cw.bc.ca or phone: 604-875-3459.
Yours sincerely,

Zoë Hodgson, PhD
