| Research Projects: | Fat feet study: determining if a clinical significant increase in foot size occurs after cesarean delivery and if the increase is related to volume of fluids administered peripartum. Effect of pentastarch on coagulation in parturients: determining if pentastarch, a low molecular weight volume expander used for resuscitation in hemorrhage, affects coagulation by examining TEG results in women undergoing elective cesarean delivery. Long QT syndrome in pregnancy: data collection on women in BC diagnosed with Long QT syndrome, and how the diagnosis affected their anesthetic and obstetrical care. |
