| Research Projects: | Re-examining "good health at low cost" in Cuba and Kerala (India): Development of a comparative case study (funded by CIHR, Initiative in Global Health Research Fellowship). This study seeks to examine two societies who had achieved “Good Health at Low Cost” through a socio-political commitment to equity: Cuba and Kerala (India). This study seeks to bring fresh evidence and perspectives on how relatively poor societies can achieve good population health outcomes and the extent to which health equity is being achieved. This project also seeks to develop new partnerships between Canadian, Indian, and Cuban researchers. |
