The purpose of this infrastructure team grant is to develop research  questions  that explore ways in which intersecting oppressions, experienced before and after migration, influence access to health care by older visible minority immigrant women (OVMIW). Research questions will be developed and pursued in partnership with multicultural service, health care providers, and policy makers, to ensure that this knowledge is translated into recommendations for health care provision and policy development that will ensure greater equity in health care    access by this growing subpopulation of older adults in British Columbia.
