Dear Colleagues,It is with great pleasure that I am able to introduce you to the Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI). As a real and virtual research institute, the WHRI provides a community where a women-focused research program is supported & enhanced by the contributions of talented individuals who are proud of the institute and the many lives that it strives to enrich.
The WHRI embraces knowledge translation to improve the lives of women in BC, Canada, and internationally, and pursues the establishment of a clear pathway where knowledge and evidence based solutions can reach the research community, health care providers, and all women.
“Leading research: Better health for all women”. This vision of knowledge exploration and life enrichment will usher us into a future where the WHRI will become a world-class research institute that continually surpasses the boundaries of knowledge.
